I have been battling venous ulcers for over 28 years. I hate the Unna boot and dread every time I have to wear them. I was convinced today that there IS a better way. Dr. Brown listened and looked me in the eyes while we discussed my history with ulcers...not at a computer. Dr. Brown replaced my Unna Boots with a wonderfully comfortable two-fold compression "boot". I highly recommend his practice for those that have to deal with any wounds! Hats off to Dr. Brown!
I am a diabetic and wanted diabetic shows as I had ordered several times before, went to DR Brown in April, it is now July and no shoes. I ask the secretary did I need a slip for my regular physician to fill out she told me no, I had to make an appointment to see Dr Brown. I saw Dr Brown and he said I needed my regular Dr to fill out a slip for the shoes to be ordered I again ask the secretary and again the secretary said I did not need any paperwork filled out and they would take care of everything. I had to do a follow up appointment to be fitted for shoes and just got a call that because the paperwork was not properly filled out I would not get any shoes. I thin Dr Brown is a good Dr but I think someone there needs to get their information corrected I have wasted a lot of time with no results on this matter.
