I bought a cut off wheel mandrel for my die grinder from this store, and it did not work properly. I lost the packaging but still had the receipt. I called up to see if I could return it, and the woman said to bring it in and they would take care of me. I went to the store, and the woman I spoke with on the phone had to call two other men from the back to look at the tool that I bought to see if it was returnable. The first man studied it and asked what was wrong with it, and said he could not resell it without the packaging. The other man came up after him and said " I CANT DO NOTHIN WITH THAT", and stared at me. I said " OK I understand" and turned face and walked out. I can go to LOWES and return "anything" package or no package. I can buy on Amazon, and if the product doesn't meet standards return it for a full refund. Do yourself a favor and shop at big brand stores. Unless your friends with these people like I am sure most of their customers are, then they will give you a refund. If they don't know you they will take your money and run like they did me.
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Everything from mule plow chain to stainless steel fryers. Graham, Andrew, Jenny, Mrs. Carr are always smiling and full of great information. I can't remember how many times I've gone there wondering how I would complete a project, and left with everything I needed, as well as great advice on how to do it. They are my "go-to" store on 99 percent of what I need on the farm. My wife loves the flowers they sell in the spring, while I always enjoy the fact that they always can handle my ammunition needs for those skeet shooting fun days. Best of all, if you go more than once, I guarantee they will know who you are, and remember your name. Try getting that at one of those big box stores!

WOW!!! How wonderful to call a business, speak to one person, "describe" what I want, and have staff tell me how many are in stock and how many can be ordered!!! Amazing!!! Better than ordering on Amazon because sometimes the site does not know what I am describing - even when I have the product name correct!! I had forgotten how wonderful "personal service" is! Carr Hardware really "Does it Best!"
