Buying our sectional was a pleasant experience. Our person was friendly outgoing and very helpful!!! We had our own trailer and wanted to pick up our sectional they said possibly 1 hour wait. This was not ideal but being right here at Christmas we understood so we called the number they gave us to check on our order and the said it would be another hour so we waited. We then called again and they said another hour well this made us hot so they finally promised to have it ready in 30 mins. When we finally went back to the office to pick up our furniture it wasn’t ready as promised!! We finally got our secrional 3 hours later. What is the point of having this huge warehouse if it is not staffed properly for people wanting to pick up their own furniture and we have to wait half of the day! I have bought a lot of furniture from Rooms to Go but this will be the last time I purchase any furniture from this Super Center!!!
I dislike doing business with places that do not teach their employees to greet the paying customers and ask how they may help. Instead of just staring at one.
I would strongly suggest choosing another location or even another company for your furniture needs. Not only are they inconsiderate of the customer's needs, but refuse to be flexible on aspects such as delivery times and methods. The manager refuses to find sustainable resolutions to customer conflicts, and will try to place the blame on the customer instead. For my delivery, I had a weird feeling that something wasn't right and called the store. After much prodding, they finally admitted that they had incorrectly coded the delivery and that if I hadn't called, the deliver would've been lost and wouldn't have come for another 3 months after I had initially ordered it.
Got everything I purchased in satisfactory condition. The warehouse could use some help. On my second visit there were only 2 customers waiting. Apparently they only had one fork truck/lift operator that day, who had called in sick and their policy according you the staff is not to cross train others to perform such a critical tasks to provide coverage in the event of such a situation.
The major benefit to Rooms to Go is their financing. If you qualify for the store card, you can make small, interest-free payments for up to 60 months. Keep in mind the store card registers on your credit as a credit card, not an installment account and if you make a large purchase it could negatively affect your credit as it will read as you having a "high" credit card balance. Check out the outlet room in the back for great deals and some products are brand new but discontinued.
The place is AWESOME with beautiful quality furniture. But the staff at the check in at the pick up site are not courteous nor professional. They think they're doing you a favor instead of realizing that their income derives from customer purchases.
